Comfy cozy with Pink Blush Maternity

Hi guys! As always, it’s been forever- and this is how I always start my blogs haha. I’m 17 weeks pregnant now, and still so exhausted. I feel like it’s because I’m not working out yet this pregnancy. I had a month of scares at the beginning, because working out was too strenuous on my body, and my placenta was super low!

Now what I’m in my second trimester, I have a tiny bit more energy, a little less nausea, and then a lot more time to snuggle with my Ivory since Avynn is well over a month back into school!

Right now I’m in the awkward stage of my pregnancy, where my bump is soooo low and my bloat is allll around! I’ve been in loungewear every day, and baggy jeans when I leave the house. However I received a package from Pink Blush with some goodies and I’ve been obsessed with both. For today’s highlight I’ll just talk about my Pjs I received!

I don’t know about you mamas but I love me some stripes during pregnancy! These grey and white striped Pjs are so soft and comfy! I’ve always loved Pink Blush because their clothing isn’t that boring maternity clothing a ton of women dread!

If the weather was still warm I would wear these shorts with a tank and sneakers!

I also love how the crewneck sweatshirt is versatile as well so I pair this with some mom jeans and Chuck Taylor’s and head to grab my oldest off the bus!

The material is super stretchy so I know the shorts will at least last me through my entire pregnancy in terms of the fit! I may just start showing “under belly,” with the sweatshirt!!

Here’s a link to this outfit! Pjs!

And you can find more intimates here- Intimates!

If you scroll a few years back I teamed up with Pink Blush while pregnant with Ivory, and that’s when I fell in love! Also let me mention their brand doesn’t just offer maternity, but women’s wear, and plus!

You’ll definitely see more to come with me and their brand! I received a really cute top I’ll be shooting next week! If you have any questions about the brand feel free to reach out! You can find their Instagram page here – Pink Blush Maternity , and their Facebook page here- Pink Blush !!

Thank you so much to the team over at Pink Blush Maternity! Your clothing is the perfect transition from early pregnancy, full term, to postpartum!! My post just went live on my Instagram at @kashafierceeee

Mama matching!

Once again I’ve been working my buns off and spending time with family-neglecting my blog and letting time pass!

Happy belated Mother’s Day to all the strong mamas out there!!

I had a nice and relaxing Mother’s Day, I slept in until 8 haha and James surprised me with breakfast in bed and I sat in bed with the girls for hours just relaxing, eating, and laughing.

These are all the little things I haven’t had the chance to enjoy lately-we’re both always on the go and haven’t had some solid family time in a little over a month!

For Mother’s Day I decided to whip out these adorable matching dresses from Pat Pat!

The weather here in Rhode Island has been so up and down, but let me tell you-I’m sooo obsessed with how easy it is to get ready especially with my 2 girls-throw on their dresses and we are out the door!

These dresses were so cute I know I’ll transition them into fall with some leggings, booties, and cardigans for the 3 of us!

You can use my code ‘Fierce12’ to save- you’ll be obsessed with how inexpensive their clothing is for such great quality!!

Curling wand VS. Curling iron?!

Hey guys!

As you know my main focus lately has been about hair! Wanna know why? …After having baby #2 it’s no lie that I have less and less time. That’s two little girls anddddd me to get ready and out-the-door!

I was such a bun woman, haha throwing my hair in a bun, making my hair break! I swear the only time I felt happy with my hair was post-salon.

Once I discovered L’ange I’m not kidding my entire routine has changed. I use their 25mm barrel wand! I’ve tried out over 4 different “curling tools”, including using a straightener to curl my hair, but what I fell in love with was 1. Not only do my curls last 3-4 days, 2. I never “mess up.”I bet you know what I’m talking about, remember being young and having someone curl your hair with a curling iron and hating it so you had to rake your hair out with your fingers until you got home and brushed it all out?! Maybe I was just particular hahaI never ever liked the aftermath of a curling iron (yikes)- I got 2 perms before agreeing to get a curl from a curling iron. The downfalls I feel with a curling iron is that “curly sue,” identical looking curls-vibe.I feel that curling irons are “precise.” The barrels of them having an attached clamp forms your curls for you, or I should say- keeps them in place. However; I feel that the wand obviously is all how you control your hair, it’s just there to heat you up!Because I only have to worry about 1 step: wrapping my hair around it, I just feel like it’s easy, simple, and my curls come out however I want them to! There’s hair freedom with a wand- and healthier curls with L’ange’s wands! With the 25mm wand that I’ve been using, which you can see here “Ondule” , I can achieve beach waves, tight ringlets, messy flip curls-you name it! Also, the titanium barrel is so safe on my hair, it leaves my curls soft and bouncy, not stiff like I get from other curling tools! There are a bunch of different wands that L’ange offers, and I highly suggest trying one out-it saved my life- no lie!I can now curl my hair and have hair for 3-4 Days that looks like I “tried” haha (a moms dream right?)Ask me how to save! And check out these messy curls I achieved from my wand!

Triple threat

Happy Wednesday! Happy October! I say this every time but it’s seriously been forever. I’m a busy bee, 5 classes is no joke, with 2 girls is even more hilarious: but needless to say I’m killin it!

I’m working for an amazing brand right now (from home which is ideal), so I promised myself I would blog more and have the girls involved. I’ve gotten so many requests for the girls to be in the spotlight again and honestly how could I resist?!

Avynn loves her photo taken, but Ivory was a whole different story haha- James was a trooper he kept chasing her then putting her in her “spot” and running out of the frame quickly

Cheetah/leopard made its way back on shelves and I’m not mad. I feel a sense of power wearing it, it’s so bold. The girls are animals so this was perfect for them

I’ve had this top for years, and also I’m loving how faux leather is back!

I tried to dress down my look with these slippers from Simply Vera Wang

Also, I love that I can dress this skirt up or down, with a blouse or a loose tee!

Ave was in such a good mood she kept saying “Mama remember we used to blog when Ivory was in your belly?” Haha

I used to do anything to keep us out of the house while I was still pregnant  but having 2 girls is like having 20, I swear

We grabbed some pretty cute shots, and how cute are their matching skirts from Old Navy?!You guys will also see a lot more of this bag! I’ve teamed up with Lily Jade-this is the chic-est diaper bag I’ve ever seen- obsessed! I’ll be posting on Instagram some amazing features it has!

I’ll keep it short and sweet today- but I wanted to throw red into this blog set to symbolize the strength and power of family. Vegas is still in my thoughts and prayers, and it’s been so hard for me to shake. Hold your family and friends extra tight, all we need to spread is love more than anything.

Hey! it’s already Friday, the holiday really made this week flyyyy! I completed my first week of school and honestly I feel like a brand new woman-no lie. Student loans escape no one, but my educational experience is so different than most. I didn’t just choose to go back to school because I want a successful higher-paying job. My biggest goal for getting this degree is dedication. I was never dedicated to school. As bad as it sounds, growing up I always imagined 2nd and 3rd chances. I was lazy, I skipped class for a sore throat. I never knew the power of dedicationuntil I became a mom. I believe education teaches dedication. It teaches us to push ourselves, stay consistent, and stay determined.

Without education in my life, I had no set plans, no huge goals, I lived day-by-day being happy with creative jobs and enjoying my family. I chose to enroll again to finish the biggest goal in my life. I used to be a quitter. I gave up when things got hard, because I had 0 direction. I no longer wanted to be an Elementary School teacher, so then what? I loved creating, loved the fashion industry but there was no way in hell I would waste 3.5 years in credits to start over and take out more loans-especially when I would never plan on moving to a fashion-focused state.

Me enrolling was baby step #1, I’ve done it before. I’ve signed up, then took a leave of absence. But this time is so different. Thursdays are my long days and I punched through it yesterday with a huge smile on my face. I forgot how much I love Psychology; it’s second nature to me. I’m the biggest people person, but also have a Psychologist’s intuition; so it’s a win-lose. I can help people, and I can see right through them.

On my off days, I am home with the girls and haven’t felt this happy in awhile. And Avynn Jade randomly asked me to blog this morning, so for the first time in months I got her and Ivory behind the camera!

Being at home with my girls used to be so stressful for me, and I’ve finally found balance. We have a routine, and it works. Ivory looks up to Avynn so much, and it makes me fall in love a thousand times.

I’m working on mayhem this weekend with my brand that is still in progress for Fall, and I have a ton of homework already; and loads of laundry!

How do I find balance? I wake up earlier than the girls and get myself ready, then I wake the baby up and it’s her turn, followed by Avynn. We eat, we plan, we run errands, and we get things done!

Today is beautiful outside and I wanted to get the girls out in the sunshine! I have had so many messages on my Facebook page about when the girls would make their appearance, and I’m so happy Ivory enjoys the camera. You will see a lot more of the girls-with our brand, and with our Youtube channel launching!

The girls are wearing Old Navy, Baby Gap, OshKosh, H&M, Children’s Place, and Nautica; everything is always tagged on Instagram at ——>  IG   <——

Throw it together

Perfect day to start a routine right? Things have been so crazy for us this summer and I’ve never been more excited to jump back into the books! Going back to school has been a huge goal of mine since my first postpartum experience, but unfortunately finding and maintaining childcare was always the biggest hurdle.

Avynn will be entering Preschool, and I’m hoping my school schedule will work perfectly with Ivory being cared for.

I’ve never realized how much overthinking my brain could actually handle, until I became a mom! Now that I have two daughters I’ve found ways to cut corners and care less about things I used to beat myself up for.

With school starting, and finally being recovered from my stomach surgery, I’ve been trying to get back into the swing of blogging. James and I finally decided hey we do have some extra time to create our channel- months ago we announced our “Life in the Fierce Lane” YouTube channel; but depression is no joke.

I went through months of hating social media, deleting photos, and staying low-key with my family. I realized my blog and my collaborations with brands really gave me a creative outlet, and I missed it. I will be re-launching a new and improved brand later this month – I’ve been hesitant for 3 months now – yikes

Getting my “ducks-in-a-row” has been like pulling teeth because our brains are so powerful, yet so damaging when our mental health is sad.

I’ve been finding clarity, and feeling like Kasha again (so corny)!

I felt this look is my perfect representation of how I’ve been for the past few months- thrown together!

I took a men’s tee and threw a twist on it- literally-twisting my belt

I felt comfy, and a stranger told me to wear more color! Haha

Olive + Annie

Hey everyone! I’m sure you’ve all realized how quickly October flew, and I never have complaints about this; my birthday is October 30th, I’ll be the big 2-5!

Of course then comes Halloween, and since I was young it’s always been my favorite. Probably because I love to dress up, right? Well holidays are so much more exciting now that I’m a mom. I get to watch how excited Avynn is to run around at a pumpkin patch, and how nice it feels to bring Ivory with us and make new memories!

A few days back, my sisters and I (of course with the kids) decided to visit Clark Farm!

This place is fun for kids and adults, and has such an assortment of activities for only an $8 admission! As I always say-support your locals!

I also figured it would be the perfect day to whip out the perfect little gift from Olive + Annie

How perfect are these leather moccasins?! These ones are ‘3-6 months’ and I love that they have an elastic around the ankles to make them easier to slip on! Ivory is still tiny so these were easy to throw on!

I’m so obsessed with the color I chose, and it was so hard to choose. This color is popular in all seasons, especially fall-for me.

Their real, genuine, leather moccasins are so vibrant and super classic. What I loved most when asked to represent the company is their passion.

Olive + Annie moccasins are handcrafted in Kenya where their mission is that each purchase supports their initiatives to end sexual violence in and beyond East Africa!

I loved this, and in recognition of that would love to offer my readers a discount using my code ‘fierce15’!

Someone’s excited for their new moccs!
We’ve already gotten endless compliments on these! They are in the color ‘Sahara Brown,’ I need an adult pair, haha

Head over to their site at Olive + Annie and also check out their Instagram page at O+A

These are so gender neutral and perfect for the holiday season coming up! Thank you again to Ellie and the Olive + Annie team, we are in loveeeee

Ladies in Lanoosh

It’s officially so so chilly already, so when we received these matching dresses my first thought was layers! Since Avynn was born we’ve always matched, mostly because since James and I were 13 we used to match our outfits in school…people always called us corny haha

Although Ave and I always matched we never had identical clothing until these were sent to us from Lanoosh !

I decided to try and make our outfits more “in season,” by throwing some fringe details together! I also tied the dress up for a tunic-style.

Other than the fact that I’m already super pale, I wanted to layer the dress with some cut off jeans to stay warm, and add balance to our outfits!

If you haven’t noticed already, I completely chopped my hair! Well not me, but my go-to friend and hair queen Complex Beauty did! We are doing something crazy to my hair right after Halloween and my birthday!

Avynn was so obsessed with her dress, and we spent James’ day off in Newport. Everyone was driving by and riding their bikes by taking photos of us, they loved the matching outfits!

Pretty soon Ivory will be able to match us too! Check out Lanoosh on Instagram as well!  ➡️ Lanoosh

Last call for jeans

So as I’ve mentioned in the previous post, we only have 5 weeks to go. I’m officially 35 weeks pregnant with baby #2, and only 35 days ’til we get to kiss her cheeks!

One thing I’ve always enjoyed about fashion is being able to dress “tomboy” with a twist. Although it was super hot, I decided Ave and I would throw some jeans on and go! And let.me.tell.you. It took a good 4 minutes to get these jeans past my hips 😳

Babies really do change our womanly figure, and I cannot complain. All my life I struggled to gain weight and was self conscious of having “chicken legs, and bony knees.”

And as much as I enjoy the weight gain and widening of hips, this was my biggest pair a jeans in the closet, and they didn’t get zipped or buttoned, haha

Clothing holds so much memory, just like photos, and both I cling to. This camo shirt I wore over 4 years ago at Halloween…so so crazy to me. These jeans Avynn has on were from a previous blog post “DIY Denim”

I’ve literally been flipping my closet upside down to help resist the urge to just throw on sweats or active wear. This “shirt” is a dress I wore months back, it’s so insane the amount of clothes I’ve been re-creating into something different.

As always I throw on a hat and go! I’ve always been such a hat girl but since becoming a mom I think there’s been a handful of times I’ve actually tried and done my hair!

Now my hair is growing at an insane pace and these roots are hiding.

Both chokers around my neck were made by me, because like I always say… Improvise with what you already have in your closet!!!

Ladies, pregnant or not start flipping your closets! Take one of your favorite dresses and use it as a tunic style shirt with some ripped boyfriend jeans and booties! It’s comfy, you don’t always have to go for a crop top!

            Until next time! Xx, 4O1Fierce
