Triple threat

Happy Wednesday! Happy October! I say this every time but it’s seriously been forever. I’m a busy bee, 5 classes is no joke, with 2 girls is even more hilarious: but needless to say I’m killin it!

I’m working for an amazing brand right now (from home which is ideal), so I promised myself I would blog more and have the girls involved. I’ve gotten so many requests for the girls to be in the spotlight again and honestly how could I resist?!

Avynn loves her photo taken, but Ivory was a whole different story haha- James was a trooper he kept chasing her then putting her in her “spot” and running out of the frame quickly

Cheetah/leopard made its way back on shelves and I’m not mad. I feel a sense of power wearing it, it’s so bold. The girls are animals so this was perfect for them

I’ve had this top for years, and also I’m loving how faux leather is back!

I tried to dress down my look with these slippers from Simply Vera Wang

Also, I love that I can dress this skirt up or down, with a blouse or a loose tee!

Ave was in such a good mood she kept saying “Mama remember we used to blog when Ivory was in your belly?” Haha

I used to do anything to keep us out of the house while I was still pregnant  but having 2 girls is like having 20, I swear

We grabbed some pretty cute shots, and how cute are their matching skirts from Old Navy?!You guys will also see a lot more of this bag! I’ve teamed up with Lily Jade-this is the chic-est diaper bag I’ve ever seen- obsessed! I’ll be posting on Instagram some amazing features it has!

I’ll keep it short and sweet today- but I wanted to throw red into this blog set to symbolize the strength and power of family. Vegas is still in my thoughts and prayers, and it’s been so hard for me to shake. Hold your family and friends extra tight, all we need to spread is love more than anything.

Hey! it’s already Friday, the holiday really made this week flyyyy! I completed my first week of school and honestly I feel like a brand new woman-no lie. Student loans escape no one, but my educational experience is so different than most. I didn’t just choose to go back to school because I want a successful higher-paying job. My biggest goal for getting this degree is dedication. I was never dedicated to school. As bad as it sounds, growing up I always imagined 2nd and 3rd chances. I was lazy, I skipped class for a sore throat. I never knew the power of dedicationuntil I became a mom. I believe education teaches dedication. It teaches us to push ourselves, stay consistent, and stay determined.

Without education in my life, I had no set plans, no huge goals, I lived day-by-day being happy with creative jobs and enjoying my family. I chose to enroll again to finish the biggest goal in my life. I used to be a quitter. I gave up when things got hard, because I had 0 direction. I no longer wanted to be an Elementary School teacher, so then what? I loved creating, loved the fashion industry but there was no way in hell I would waste 3.5 years in credits to start over and take out more loans-especially when I would never plan on moving to a fashion-focused state.

Me enrolling was baby step #1, I’ve done it before. I’ve signed up, then took a leave of absence. But this time is so different. Thursdays are my long days and I punched through it yesterday with a huge smile on my face. I forgot how much I love Psychology; it’s second nature to me. I’m the biggest people person, but also have a Psychologist’s intuition; so it’s a win-lose. I can help people, and I can see right through them.

On my off days, I am home with the girls and haven’t felt this happy in awhile. And Avynn Jade randomly asked me to blog this morning, so for the first time in months I got her and Ivory behind the camera!

Being at home with my girls used to be so stressful for me, and I’ve finally found balance. We have a routine, and it works. Ivory looks up to Avynn so much, and it makes me fall in love a thousand times.

I’m working on mayhem this weekend with my brand that is still in progress for Fall, and I have a ton of homework already; and loads of laundry!

How do I find balance? I wake up earlier than the girls and get myself ready, then I wake the baby up and it’s her turn, followed by Avynn. We eat, we plan, we run errands, and we get things done!

Today is beautiful outside and I wanted to get the girls out in the sunshine! I have had so many messages on my Facebook page about when the girls would make their appearance, and I’m so happy Ivory enjoys the camera. You will see a lot more of the girls-with our brand, and with our Youtube channel launching!

The girls are wearing Old Navy, Baby Gap, OshKosh, H&M, Children’s Place, and Nautica; everything is always tagged on Instagram at ——>  IG   <——

Nude Attitude

                            Hey hey hey!!

With Holidays literally around the corner, I haven’t even had time to blink! I got hired at a new job and we leave for vacation the first week of January!

So much has been going on and pretty soon I’ll be working wearing scrubs, so I’ve been trying my hardest to whip all of my favorite items out of my closet!

I have such a fun announcement for the first of the year, and I’ve never been so unsure about something ever haha

And guys don’t worry, I’m NOT pregnant again, ha

Although it’s been soooo cold here in the 401, I’ve been refusing to bundle up (clearly why I’m feeling sick). I whipped this favorite coat of mine out finally!

And although these heels are 2 sizes too big, I’ve still been rockin’ with them!

These jeans I’ve had for forever and when I tell you they’re my favorite, they’re top fave! They’re high waisted, and surprisingly from Charlotte Russe!

I think I only have 3 pairs of denim that fit still and these are one of the few that aren’t ripped!

I received the cutest little necklace with my daughters names Ivory, and Avynn on the ‘dog-chain-like’ pieces

I haven’t taken it off, I’ve already had a few people ask where I received it from!

Lemon Bug Shop sent me this necklace, that I know I will for sure be blogging frequently wearing!

My necklace was custom made with the girls names, and I chose the font, and to have mine gold;

Order yours here ➡️ Lemon Bug Shop
I snagged this cute mock neck sweater for only $10 at H&M!
My huge obsession with neutrals continues, and I find it’s easiest to throw outfits together in my closet by mixing hues like these hues of nudes!

Before I embark on a new career journey I made a promise to myself to stay up-to-date with my blogging, and with Florida creeping up on us, you’ll be seeing a lot more from my closet!!

White out!

Hey guys!!

These gloomy days are worrying me, yikes…snow will be right around the corner, so I’m slowly whipping out my transition wardrobe!

I firmly believe neutrals tones over rule anything, everyday! A simple pair of white jeans can turn any outfit chic, and ladies stop being scared of wearing white after Labor Day! Haha I’ve always surpassed all rules and decide to wear whatever works for me!

I’m obsessed with high neck sweaters this season, and I love to transform fall/winter looks into spring and summer, pairing the same sweater with some denim shorts!

I decided to spend a day in Newport!

Keeping it simple is my favorite, especially since I gave birth and none of my clothes fit anymore (no complaints). The oversized clothing has always been my favorite, and I’m glad that we are going into the colder months while I’m still 2 months postpartum. I layer everything!!

This thin beige jacket I’ve had for almost 3 seasons, I believe it’s from H&M! And can’t you tell I’m still obsessing over my little New Balance!

Leather + Lace

It’s officially our 1 week mark, baby number 2 could arrive any day….so so crazy!

Looking at old photos from the hospital with Avynn’s birth experience is making me so anxious.

I’ve been staying so busy and everyone around me keeps reminding me to rest, I swear it’s so impossible. It’s mind blowing that I’ll be a mother of 2 little girls. I just feel so overwhelmingly blessed. Having James through it all definitely fills my heart.

I try to capture every moment, always have and always will. I purchased the cutest high-waisted lace bell bottoms for Avynn a month back at H+M and although I wanted to wait for fall to whip these out, I couldn’t help but throw them on Ave for a leather + lace vibe.

Taking these photos for my blog has always just been something to keep us busy and it was a way for me to transform my love for “modeling” into an every-week lifestyle.

I just signed with a blogging site who is now actively paying me to write. It’s amazing to be appreciated for both passions of mine, fashion photography + writing.

Keeping this post short and sweet, attempting to get some rest today before photographing my youngest sister. I didn’t mention she was just signed to a local modeling agency, I now get to style her shoots!

Baby Ivory is the size of a mini watermelon today, can’t wait to kiss her cheeks and finally have my family of four!!

Wednesday Whites!

Finally some rain to get rid of this sticky wether! I know all of you are probably thinking, shut upppp, we wanted a beach day….but my 9 1/2 month pregnant butt is so sticky this summer!

We are now at 37 weeks 5 days, and I have no idea if I’m more dilated this week than last, but I will find out Friday. It’s so scary now thinking about where I’ll be when my water breaks (if it does), mostly because I’m always on the go this pregnancy! I have 3 nights of class left!!!! And I’ve been taking a small few days off of work to rest because my feet are so swollen. Cankles on cankles!

Spending these last few weeks with Avynn is so important because soon it will be all 3 of us girls. So what better than matching head-to-toe with her?!

I finally found a pair of Reebok classics in her size, and they’re the cutest little things!

We got completely rained out today, so we will do some laundry + studying!

Also did I mention I finally gave into a pair of maternity shorts?! I shouldn’t say “gave in,” maternity clothes are actually so cute these days….I mainly just never find the perfect fit, and these shorts were the perfect match! I found them on clearance at H+M for only $7!!!?!

Avynns entire outfit was found at Target … I’m so in love with these little spandex shorts on her!

                                Until next time!

Sporty Sunday

Hi!!!

So I’ve waited a few days to post this because I haven’t even had time to breathe these last few days. We had our 37 week appointment on Friday, and found out we are already 1cm dilated with 3 weeks to go! So insane.

With Avynn I wasn’t 1cm dilated til 4 or 5 days before my due date, and then we ended up getting induced. I’ve been trying to focus all of the energy that I have left into nesting, nesting, nesting!

No one ever is completely prepared for baby, but we cleaned our car out, James panicked and set her swing up, we packed the hospital bag…and now I have to get a ton of tests done for my summer course.

After finding out the shocking news that Ivory could come at any time, my mom, Avynn and I had a relaxing night at my brothers house grilling out by the water.

I decided that any clothing items I’ve purchased for my pregnancy (in pregnancy sizes) had to be whipped out now just incase she makes her arrival!

This dress is a size M and was still too short for my liking, so thankfully I whipped it out just in time. I haven’t even attempted a weight training exercise in over 3 months so therefore my “love handles” have been my biggest insecurity, and a jiggly booty hasn’t been so cute. I use a jacket to hide both, haha

I went cheap for this dress, I love how deep the army green was so I snagged it right away. For maternity dresses I always either stick with H+M or Forever because they shrink after 1 wash which is great for post-baby, and I also don’t feel bad spending a cheap $15 on a dress that I can just throw on!

I’ve also resorted to sneakers this entire pregnancy, they’re the only thing that can hide my swollen feet, and also support every single pound of me as I walk up 3 flights to my apartment daily, phew

I found these Nike’s for only $60!

Hope you are all enjoying your summer, can’t believe the first week of August is over!! But I sure am excited for fall and this babe!

Blacks + Brights!

9 months pregnant, and Avynn can’t be more excited to become a big sister! It’s the sweetest thing, she wakes up every morning and kisses my belly saying “good morning Ivory” or “I miss you Ivory,” I can’t take it 😩

Being 9 months pregnant in the summertime with a 3 year old means I have 0 energy to get us completely dressed and ready. I’ve literally been keeping a water bottle in the car, and slicking my hair back while dumping it on my head. (Attempting to look somewhat chic, but feel the chill).

Although the weather in Rhode Island is so sticky and humid, we decided to drape our brights over our backs!

I’ve had this coral-neon jacket for years I honestly think I found it at a TJ Maxx in Florida.

As I always say, dresses are so necessary this pregnancy -or any.

We decided to be crazy and wear all black with our brights! It was the same exact aesthetic of a blog photo Ave and I did over 2 years ago when she was just a little babe… Look!

These photos keep popping up on my Facebook Timehop and let me tell you I have allllll the feels!

Avynns tribal bright jacket is from H+M , and she’s wearing another one of our homemade chokers!

Despite the weather as I keep mentioning, I decided to whip these jackets out of the closet because we have been revamping the closets like crazy! These are such Springy jackets and by next Spring, I’m sure Ave’s jacket will be handed down to Ivory!

Sunsets + Shop Elle G

Hello All! In my last post I introduced one of my favorite local Boutiques, Elle G!

Their Spring Collection is out and who doesn’t love the biggest convenience of Spring-throwing on a dress! ‘Tis the Season of dresses, rompers, skirts and shorts making appearances from my closet!

Last Spring my favorites were skorts and shorts because it was so easy to pair them with cropped tops, or a tucked-in/tied-up tank!

Well, this Spring + Summer I’ll be nice and pregnant, so my wardrobe will have to adjust for sure! This is especially why I LOVE that I will be pregnant during the two seasons most popular for dresses!

This dress that I pulled from Elle G was a Springy Coral color, and such a girly choice (having a bow and all)! I loved wearing this dress after the sun went down because of how thin and breezy the material is! This dress was originally supposed to be tied as a halter dress, however I got super sun burned the first few days and my bathing suit left an “X” from the way I tied it, so like so I tied that way as well! I love adding new dimensions to a piece so simple!

This dress doesn’t come completely to floor length so I feel it should be worn with a lace-up sandal or wedge! It sure is the season of “laced-up-everything!”

I was on the beach at sunset, and am almost always barefoot!

Along with this dress option the owner Lauren pulled a cute dainty gold 2 layered necklace for me! I love love love layered necklaces! What’s better than getting 2-in-1?!

Here again I wore some sunnies, this time a brown pair from  H&M!

I highly suggest visiting Elle G on their Instagram @ Shop Elle G for more new arrivals + popular items that lace-up and cut-out!

Who doesn’t love coral on tan skin, or a beautiful beach sunset?!

Okay, im teasing myself already + want to be back there 😩 , and I’m sure I’m teasing you  all too!
