Mid-week Metallics

                                Hey hey!!
I’m already half way through my second week of classes-so I have bragging rights right now haha

Wednesday’s have always been my favorite day of the week, mid-way through, and something always made me feel so accomplished waking up Wednesday mornings! Sadly this means September is half way gone, and summer is fading. This is my time for transition outfits: where I take choices and combine seasons. This usually happens in layers- that is why I loooooove Fall; L A Y E R S!!!

A friend of mine who I actually haven’t seen in years reached out to me explaining she just opened her first boutique! I was so excited for her and she sent me some goodies! Because I under went surgery this summer I honestly think I’ve been in a bathing suit maybe 5x.

She sent me a few 1 pieces, and this one fit best ( although I never show the full details since I refuse to expose my stomach right now). I’ve recently also been rocking a pair of sunnies from her boutique as well, they can be seen on my Instagram in my most recent photos! At @kashaxmarie .

Anyways, I love that the metallic one piece matched my metallic booties I snagged a few months back from ZARA .

I feature these in a lot of photos because they remind me of a pair of rose gold metallic flats I had years ago, and I’m so glad my love for futuristic fashion is making a small spot light.

I wore these to class yesterday and got stopped by so many girls! One told me, “this outfit is confident,” haha

You can find similar booties everywhere like Here …. Here …. Here ( I tried to give you guys some versatility)!

Denim-on-denim will never stop (forewarning you now), so of course I took advantage of this once again as you can see. I treated the swim suit as a body suit which pictured looks like a bralette.

You can find her boutique on Instagram at @24kclothing_ ( you will see more from her line on my Instagram)!

Next I wanted to talk about this jacket I’ve showcased a few times! Another friend of mine owns this company Jypsy! I’ve blogged about this brand in the past (I styled a red Adidas Jypsy bomber).

I’m obsessed with this acid wash “Cotton Candy” jean jacket! I’ve been trying so hard to embrace color in my wardrobe!

You can find/follow this brand here at @Jypsy.life

As you can see in this photo

my hair has some waves; I’ve been mentioning in several posts now that I’ve teamed up full-time with L’Ange Hair <—— that link gives you my insane discount code. I’ve never been the type to obsess over my hair, but it’s been so soft and fluffy!

Feel free to ask me any questions about our products! To achieve the wavy look above I used the 25mm (1inch) Titanium blush wand! I can give you half off -like I said insaneeeee

I chose to layer my outfit to transition these summer-like pieces. My spray tan has faded, and my metallic sunnies went missing ; but overall this look was comfy and confident haha

Saturday Blues

It’s been a long summer for me. I’m just now hitting 7.5 weeks post-op from my hernia surgery and lawddddd what a recovery. As always recommended please do your research before you agree to procedures! No complaints here-but I thought I’d bounce-back quicker!

And summertime is all about feeling comfortable, cooling down, and making memories. So I finally decided to throw on a bathing suit I’ve had for months
I love the denim-on-denim, since childhood so let me tell you-it will always be my go-to!

It took a lot for me to post these photos of my stomach, because I’m not fully healed, and I never expose it! But hey, beauty is skin deep guys, better to be natural and embrace your flaws then to be like the rest of ’em- photoshopped.  My goal is to actually get to the beach before I start classes! I hope you’re all enjoying the last of your summer, I’ll keep this short and sweet!

Love who you are, fix things you want to improve, but realize you’re more than what you look like. It’s hard to feel comfortable with my stomach showing because it’s been my biggest weakness for years. But I’m working on it, and for now I realize I’ve held two huge and beautiful baby girls in this body, and I have the best man who loves me for me. I’m happy and healthy and that’s what counts. I remind myself of all of these blessings every single day, and this has helped me move past my looks and towards my goals!

Lime

Tonight’s a late night post, and a few days too late! I’ve been adding more color to my wardrobe lately and I’m not complaining!

I think what I try to embody the most when reflecting Andrea Valentini is athleisure. After children I can’t tell you how many days a week I am in “fitness attire.” Tom boy 24/7, not even kidding.

I wanted to also throw in the fact that years ago after Avynns birth I only wore high waisted suits and one pieces, and now I throw on the bottoms with baggy pants, and tuck the one pieces into anything and everything.

Who knew I would actually love lime?! This set also reflects a few secrets that I have to share with you all in about a week!!

Enjoy the sunshine! Lemon, Lime, and Silver are our limited edition colors for the spring and summer! All are available now at AV

Some sunshine?

We’ve all been struggling to see the sun these days, and I swear every time it peeks it’s way out my mood does flips. On another note, two baby girls later and none of my summer clothes from previous years fit. But I’ve never felt more of a woman, baby hips in full affect.

When it comes to my wardrobe, on days I’m not dressed like a boy, I try to find balance in my outfits. Shorts/ skirt with a long sleeve. Jeans/ pants and a short sleeve.

Aside from slapping on a spray tan to bring summer vibes my way, I’ve been trying to purchase more color. Not only have my outfit choices become more bold, but so have our bags over at AV !!

White, lemon, and lime are our bolder options for this season! And they are all now available for purchase!

I paired this lemon ‘Mary’ with a comfy outfit! Both my outfit and our bag can transcend from day to night!

Friday in the fields!

Today marks 38 weeks, I can’t even believe it. And even dresses are getting so so sticky. Also let me just add sandals are just not an option anymore….I think my swollen feet have broken 2 pairs already haha

So sneakers (especially these netted ones) are so necessary! I’m either in sneakers or barefoot, that’s all I can do!

Driving up to class every day I always go past these gorgeous fields which I’ve known about for years, but today I decided I loved how vibrant the corn stalks looked, and we pulled over to shoot!

Today I chose to mix prints, you can never go wrong with stripes, and I threw in some camo on this bandana to match with the green in my sneakers.

I’m almost always without makeup these days so I always have some sunglasses on to hide my tired eyes-yikes! I’m obsessed with these black “cat-like” QUAY sunnies!

This is the stretchiest dress I own, I found it for $15 at Old Navy . I’ve been checking in there non stop for the girls because their baby/children section has come such a long way. I always find something perfect for my girls!

Pictured above is this beautiful bangle sent to me from Pairie …later on this week I will be hosting a giveaway for their collection-so stay tuned!

Blacks + Brights!

9 months pregnant, and Avynn can’t be more excited to become a big sister! It’s the sweetest thing, she wakes up every morning and kisses my belly saying “good morning Ivory” or “I miss you Ivory,” I can’t take it 😩

Being 9 months pregnant in the summertime with a 3 year old means I have 0 energy to get us completely dressed and ready. I’ve literally been keeping a water bottle in the car, and slicking my hair back while dumping it on my head. (Attempting to look somewhat chic, but feel the chill).

Although the weather in Rhode Island is so sticky and humid, we decided to drape our brights over our backs!

I’ve had this coral-neon jacket for years I honestly think I found it at a TJ Maxx in Florida.

As I always say, dresses are so necessary this pregnancy -or any.

We decided to be crazy and wear all black with our brights! It was the same exact aesthetic of a blog photo Ave and I did over 2 years ago when she was just a little babe… Look!

These photos keep popping up on my Facebook Timehop and let me tell you I have allllll the feels!

Avynns tribal bright jacket is from H+M , and she’s wearing another one of our homemade chokers!

Despite the weather as I keep mentioning, I decided to whip these jackets out of the closet because we have been revamping the closets like crazy! These are such Springy jackets and by next Spring, I’m sure Ave’s jacket will be handed down to Ivory!

34 weeks w/his t shirts

This look was inspired by emotion. I’ve completely been reflecting on these past 25 years of my life…everything in the world screams hate and fear today. I remember running around barefoot in the 90’s (choker and all) and my only concern being going home for dinner. That was what being free felt like, I remember always feeling so much passion for capturing memories through photo and having all the time in the world to do so.

I now continue to squeeze in this passion of mine, along with progressing towards bigger goals for my families future.
I’ve been ranting for months about how I’ve been stealing James’ wardrobe, and let me tell you it’s either that, or I throw on a dress!

Because men’s clothing can sometimes be super plain, I decided to layer the crap out of myself…even in the hottest weather we’ve been blessed with here in the 401!

So we’ve finally reached 34 weeks and although I’m wearing bathing suit bottoms that can’t be seen, it’s been a #1 priority when I get home to take my pants off 😩.

Thankfully we have 6 weeks to go and we can snuggle with our little one all winter!

There’s nothing I love more than white in the summertime, and who doesn’t love denim?!

Here I’m layering my necklaces from Mirina Collections NY

It felt great to be behind the camera again. I wish more people would embrace their passionate.

A huge thank you to Charles Christian for these gorgeous shots!

Staying Kool in Khaki cut outs

It was finally time to figure out what I was going to do all summer with no bathing suit 😳 I have been trying on every single one I own, and finally decided to splurge on a new one! Don’t get me wrong-nothing is wrong with a cute maternity suit but I find going up a few sizes has always worked in my favor!

I decided to go for a nice walk with my sister, followed by the most relaxing swim! It was 75* outside and beautiful! Anddddd let me just add, we hit 7 months!! Can’t believe how time is flying!

I ordered a bodysuit from Naked Wardrobe , I love love love how their clothing is simple and timeless. Although it wasn’t exactly a “swimsuit” it definitely caught my eye.

I also whipped out my “kimono-like” cover-up. I purchased this from H+M a few years back and fell in love with the nature tones!

I hope you’re all enjoying these gorgeous summer days! I’m now studying for my first exam of the summer session! Until next time!
